A Love Story to Remember: Our First Jacksonville Wedding at Old Spanish Quarter
Friday, April 4th, 2025, will forever hold a special place in our hearts at Old Spanish Quarter. While we’ve had the honor of hosting numerous incredible events since our grand opening in October 2024, this past weekend marked a monumental milestone—our very first Jacksonville Florida wedding. And what a beautiful way to begin this next chapter!
On a picture-perfect spring day, Anastatia and Myers Kampfe said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, and the undeniable magic of the season. With sunshine pouring over our outdoor ceremony space and the sweetest breeze whispering through, it truly felt like the universe was celebrating right alongside us.
Before walking down the aisle, the couple shared a heartfelt first look, where they took a few quiet moments together and exchanged personal vows with one another. It was a touching and intimate moment that set the tone for the rest of the day—a celebration grounded in love, meaning, and connection.
We were thrilled to debut our brand-new covered pavilion and groom suite just in time for the Kampfes’ big day. The pavilion served as a stunning setting for cocktail hour and also offers couples a gorgeous backup plan in case of rain. Under the pavilion, Anastatia and Myers added their own fun flair with cornhole and mini golf—a playful touch that kept guests smiling and mingling. We absolutely love seeing couples make their day their own and infuse their personalities into the celebration.
Our new covered pavilion and attached groom suite — the perfect setting for a covered ceremony in case of rain or a charming spot for an intimate cocktail hour.
Our stunning new pavilion, thoughtfully designed by the talented team at Relevant Design Group — blending form, function, and beauty to create the perfect space for unforgettable moments.
The groom suite was also enjoyed to the fullest—a thoughtfully designed space where Myers and his groomsmen could relax, tell stories, share laughs, and enjoy a few bites and drinks while getting ready for the main event. It's more than a getting-ready room—it's a place to make memories before saying “I do.”
Our brand new groom suite — the ultimate hangout before 'I do.' We'll be adding more furniture, stylish decor, and a few fun games to make this space even more inviting for the guys to relax and celebrate before the big moment.
The florals were bursting with bright, vibrant colors—a stunning reflection of spring in full bloom. From the beautifully arranged bouquets to the colorful ceremony accents, every bloom added a fresh and joyful energy to the day. Arlington Flower Shop supplied the flowers and did a beautiful job bringing the couple’s vision to life. We especially loved the way the bridesmaids’ dresses each matched a color pulled straight from the bouquet—creating a gorgeous rainbow of spring-inspired hues that perfectly tied everything together.
The celebration continued in our elegant indoor ballroom, where guests enjoyed signature cocktails, hit the dance floor, and snapped memories in a fun-filled photo booth. From the florals and fashion to the personalized koozies featuring their beloved dog, Ducky, every single detail was a reflection of Anastatia and Myers’ unique love story.
A peek inside our grand ballroom — where timeless details meet modern romance. From soft linens to stunning florals, every table setting is designed to elevate your celebration.
It was the kind of day that reminds us why we do what we do—creating beautiful spaces where unforgettable memories are made.
To the Kampfes: thank you for trusting us with one of the most important days of your life. We are honored to have been a part of your love story, and we will always remember this magical first wedding at Old Spanish Quarter.
Here’s to many more weddings, celebrations, and love stories to come. 💍✨
